A promising 2012 vintage
The harvest has been finished for a month and we are now able to evaluate the quality of the vintage. The average yield is a bit low because of the drought during the summer but the quality is excellent, with dark-colored and full-bodied reds, and well-balanced and aromatic whites and rosés.
Robert Parker : excellent ratings for the Château Fontvert rouge 2010 and the Mourre Nègre 2010
In August, two of our wines were tasted by Robert Parker (the most famous wine critic) and both of them were distinguished:
89/100 (category "Very good wine") for the Château Fontvert rouge 2010
90-92+/100 (category "Outstanding wine") for the Mourre Nègre 2010
